## Role Overview
As the Chief Product Officer (CPO) at booli.ai, you will be a key member of our executive team, reporting directly to the CEO. This role is pivotal in shaping our product strategy and driving innovation to cement our position as a leader in the cybersecurity market. You will oversee our entire product lifecycle from ideation to market success. Your vision will be instrumental in achieving our goal of becoming the #1 SIEM and MDR solution provider.
## Key Responsibilities
### Product Vision and Strategy
- Develop and articulate a compelling 5-year product vision that aligns with booli.ai's mission and market opportunities.
- Create and execute a comprehensive product strategy that drives both user acquisition and revenue growth, with a target to triple revenue in the next 24 months.
- Identify and prioritize new product opportunities, including potential acquisitions or partnerships to expand our product portfolio.
### Product Development and Innovation
- Lead the development of our core SIEM and MDR platforms, ensuring continuous improvement and innovation.
- Spearhead the creation of at least two new product lines or major features annually to address emerging cybersecurity challenges.
- Implement an agile product development process, with bi-weekly sprint reviews and quarterly product roadmap updates.
### Team Leadership and Development
- Build and mentor a world-class product team.
- Foster a culture of innovation, customer-centricity, and data-driven decision making within the product organization.
### Market Analysis and Customer Insights
- Conduct regular market research to stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive movements.
- Establish a customer advisory board of 50+ key clients to gather insights and validate product directions.
- Implement a comprehensive voice of customer (VoC) program, including quarterly surveys and monthly user testing sessions.
### Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with the CTO and engineering teams to ensure technical feasibility and efficient execution of the product roadmap.
- Collaborate with the VP of Sales to align product strategy with go-to-market plans and customer acquisition goals.
- Partner with the VP of Sales to develop compelling product messaging and positioning for different market segments.
### Product Performance and Metrics
- Define and track key product metrics, including user engagement, retention rates, and feature adoption.
- Implement a robust product analytics stack.
- Present monthly product performance reports to the board, highlighting KPIs, challenges, and strategic initiatives.
### Thought Leadership and Industry Presence
- Represent booli.ai at major cybersecurity conferences.
- Contribute regularly to industry publications and our company blog, establishing yourself as a thought leader in the SIEM and MDR space.
- Build relationships with industry analysts (Gartner, Forrester) to influence market perceptions and gain valuable insights.
## Qualifications
### Experience
- 12+ years of product management experience, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles (VP Product or above) in the cybersecurity or enterprise software industry.
- Proven track record of launching successful B2B SaaS products, preferably in the SIEM, MDR, or related cybersecurity domains.
- Experience in scaling a product organization from startup to growth stage ($5M to $50M+ ARR).
### Skills and Expertise
- Deep understanding of cybersecurity landscape, including threat detection methodologies, compliance requirements, and emerging technologies (AI/ML, blockchain, etc.).
- Strong technical background with the ability to discuss architectural decisions with engineering teams.
- Excellent product sense with a history of making data-informed product decisions that drive business results.
- Proficiency in modern product management tools (e.g., Jira, Productboard, Aha!) and methodologies (Agile, Lean).
